Elevator Permitting in West Palm Beach
West Palm Beach building officials handle the building permit for the hoistway and associated structural work. The elevator permit and Certificate of Operation follow a separate path through Florida DBPR's Bureau of Elevator Safety, Region 2. This page provides general process information, not an approval-time guarantee.
Florida's statewide framework includes Chapter 399, Florida Statutes; Chapter 30 of the Florida Building Code; and Florida Administrative Code 61C-5. This is general permitting information, not legal advice or a guarantee of review or approval timing. Confirm current submittal requirements with the authorities involved in the project.
