Elevator Permitting in Palm Beach County
Palm Beach County is not one of Florida's locally delegated elevator jurisdictions, so the state DBPR Bureau of Elevator Safety, Region 2, handles the elevator permit and Certificate of Operation under Chapter 399. A hoistway or other structural scope still goes through the appropriate city or county building department as a separate building-permit submittal.
